After 4½ years of operation, the NanoMemPro project ended on 1st March 2009. The Final Review Meeting as held in Brussels on 26th February 2009 where the project was evaluated by the Project Officers and External Expert as a success. The NanoMemPro programme’s ambitious objectives have been in large part reached thanks to the efforts of all the various academic and industrial researchers taking part in the Network of Excellence. The creation of a legal entity, which enables a continuation of the NanoMemPro’s strategies, has been realised. Arising from NanoMemPro, a European Membrane House exists today. NanoMemPro partners thank you very much for your collaboration and the joint work accomplished during the past years.
The NanoMemPro website will stay open but will not be updated in the future. You will find all information related to membrane on the European Membrane House website (EMH) (www.euromemhouse.com) and the services, expertise, members, events and resources offered by the EMH.

The 4th annual NanoMemPro meeting will be held in Brussels the 6th and 7th November 2008.

“Nanostructured materials and membranes for Energy”, the 3rd third course of the NanoMemcourse project, will be held in Norway, from 8 to 17 March, 2009.
NanoMemCourse project supports of a large number of grants that will cover travel and living expenses for the participants. These grants will be given mainly to young researchers (less than 10 years of research experience). The deadline to request a grant is October 20, 2009.

The website of the European Membrane House (legal entity arising from NanoMemPro) is open to the public! You will find information about the services, expertise, members, events and resources offered by the EMH. For the time being, part of the website is still under construction, which it will open gradually in the future. EMH endeavours to build an informative and functional website that effectively works for your information sharing in the European Membrane House (www.euromemhouse.com).
